 The East Coast Band was formed in 1982 and has since traveled the Southeast playing at festivals, conventions, country clubs and private parties. This super group has recorded four CDs and landed two recordings on the John Hook Rhythm and Beach charts. From Virginia to Florida, from the east coast to New Orleans, this band delivers beach, oldies, retro and variety sounds that will please even the most demanding audiences with its great vocals, high-energy stage presence and all-around great music. Seven of the best musicians in the area make up the East Coast Band: Bailey Johnson… whaling on guitar and lead vocals is the man responsible for the East Coast Band. A founding member and manager of the group, Bailey has carried this outstanding band all over the Southeast since Day One. Lisa Pruitt… one of the most powerful female vocalists in the Southeast, Lisa has a personality to match her one-of-a-kind vocal talent. Rob Taylor… a master vocalist on beach, dance and love songs, he can do it all! Add that to his screaming sax and showmanship and you will really get a kick out of this guy. Ric Sarmiento… if he jumps off the stage and into the middle of the dance floor, don’t be alarmed… he’s just having fun! Ric is one of the finest guitarists in the region and keeps the group rockin’. Lynn Bennett… Lynn plays a double-handful of keyboards and provides lead vocals on some of your favorites. Randall Roark… the youngest member of our group, Randall delivers the strong back-beat of the East Coast Band. Randall Lark… puts the full bass bottom to the East Coast sound.
