The Mighty Kicks!
Non-stop choreography, non-stop music & non-stop energy!

> Demo will not play?

With its non-stop choreography, non-stop music and non-stop energy, the Mighty Kicks! has earned its place among the top echelon of entertainment in the Southeast and beyond.

Demand for the Mighty Kicks! is at an all-time high, with functions often being booked more than a year in advance. The band’s client list is certainly impressive. On January 20, 2009, the band performed for the South Carolina State Society of Washington D.C. Inaugural Ball. In 2006, the Mighty Kicks! had the honor of performing at the United States’ embassy in Ottawa, Canada. U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins commented after the show that guests had declared this the best function at the embassy in ten years and gave credit to the Kicks! for its success.

The Mighty Kicks! began in 1986 when a group of friends from Orangeburg, S.C., started an air band, the rage at the time, and proceeded to win contests across the region. They were all musicians, and eventually started a “real” band, calling it the Kicks! The band began to earn name recognition throughout the Southeast, performing for large festivals and private events from Georgia to Washington, D.C.  The Mighty Kicks! was placed on the U.S. Department of Defense’s roster of approved artists to perform for U.S. troops stationed all over the world, and had the honor of performing on aircraft carriers and military bases throughout Europe and Central America.

In the 90s, the Mighty Kicks! began to perform at events along with their mentors, the Original Tams, the Fantastic Shakers and the Chairmen of the Board. Becoming more popular than ever, they expanded their territory by booking parties and public performances in the Midwest and Northeast.

One of the hardest-working bands in show business, the Mighty Kicks! will ensure the music at your wedding reception, corporate function, festival, fair or concert series will surpass your every expectation.

The Mighty Kicks sets DC on fire!
The excitement the Mighty Kicks generated playing for the 2009 South Carolina Presidential Ball in Washington, DC, was absolutely infectious. Knowing how keyed up and proud they were to perform for our guests, coupled with the fact that they are from South Carolina, made it that much more fun for us to have them as our entertainment. South Carolina has such great things to share with people around the country and music is definitely one of those. So it was a pleasure to have The Mighty Kicks as our entertainment for the night.

When we started researching bands to entertain at the ball, one of our criteria was that the music would appeal to a wide range of people and would keep guests on their feet all night long. We heard nothing but rave reviews about their performance, and they certainly knew how to keep the crowd engaged. They kept people dancing and singing right up until the very end and even had people requesting more music after the last note. It was a pleasure working with The Mighty Kicks from start to finish.
